- Homeowner direct fumigation - This simply means that a homeowner can call us directly to book a fumigation if you believe you have termites or have been previously told by a termite company. Prior to fumigating the pest does need to be identified in order to proceed...meaning that you either need to have a termite report from another company OR we can come out to do a FREE limited inspection to identify the pest.
- Happy Homeowner Fumigant Packet - The attached packet is for you to review. The included paperwork is essentially what we will send to you, should you choose to fumigate with Van Hooser Enterprises. This will definitely answer most questions and clarify some concerns that you may have.
- Drywood Termites vs. Subterranean Termites - These two types of termites are generally what you will find in your home. Drywood termites can be treated by fumigation or if they are only found in a couple of isolated areas, you may choose to locally treat them. Subterranean termites can only be treated by local treatment...they generally make their home in the earths surface which we handle by doing a "drill & treat". - Wood-boring Beetles - Beetles generally live in very moist conditions. Often times you will find beetles in different types of furniture...antiques as well as other types. We do fumigate homes for beetles much in the same way that we do for termite fumigation. There are two mail differences, one being...that beetles require the use of much more gas to get a kill, and two being...it is a 5 day process opposed to a 3 day for drywoods. If you require a piece of furniture to be fumigated, all you would need to do is bring it to our office where we have the ability to take care of that for you.
